THE HISTORY:
The Susquehanna Valley Balloon Company was established in 1986 at the Lancaster Airport. Our approach has always been to introduce people to the joys of flying in a hot air balloon in a fun and safe environment.
THE PILOT:
Brett Engroff is SVBC’s owner and pilot. Brett has been ballooning since early childhood and grew up in a ballooning family! He’s logged more than 300 hours in the air and has more than 20 years of experience in flying hot air balloons.
By day, Brett is a fixed-wing pilot with three jet ratings, a certified scuba diver, and served in the U.S. Air Force. When not flying for SVBC, he can be found camping with family & friends and sharing his love of ballooning with his two young daughters.
